Mama Megan is SOOO SMART !!

In this blog somewhere, is a picture of Megan bringing me all the brush out of the yard. 
   She LOVES having a "job"...

Which leads me to how this got started.  I think I dropped a piece of paper on the floor and she picked it up for me!  After a few "cookies" (little puppy treats) I realized just how smart this girl is.  She would pick up ANYTHING I dropped and loved every minute of it.  I got the biggest kick out of her doing this.
   When a friend was over recently, she said "You should take a video of her doing that & post it on your blog!"  Well, my daughter helped me "tape" it (what DO they call it now?!)

       The video called Good Helper shows her picking up my cane, a piece of paper, a paper clip (!) and a marker.
 I'm very surprised she "performed" since she was really exhausted.  ALL of her favorite people in the world had visited that day.

Believe it or not, I have figured out how to post a video on YouTube!! 
I guess YouTube was always something I assumed  other "geeks" did.
  Actually it was out of necessity since I couldn't email a file that large.
It was a lot easier than I thought.

Poor Meg, she delivered 6 pups in 4 hours!  whew....

Above and below they were only 2 days old. Megan has taken to this role very well.

Megan's ANCESTORS

Breeding Megan wasn't always the plan.  But who knew she'd turn out so well.
 Actually, it wasn't a surprise since she is from very nice lines.
    Which is exactly why her "1st mom" (her breeder & co-owner, Naomi) wanted to see if Megan could produce some nice show prospects.  Even if none turn out to be "show quality" (which is pretty subjective!) there is no doubt that all will be very nice, healthy & intelligent German Shepherds.   I will try to post her pedigree, just not sure if this blogspot will accept a document.   Well, it didn't but I scanned it below:
